How much you pay for the maintenance with owner assistance varies much with your experience, your aircraft and the tasks you need to accomplish.
If you are new to owner-assisted maintenance of your aircraft, you usually need to learn a lot about the tasks to be performed, about the tools used or the documentation consulted. In these training situations, we will guide you much more intense and longer than if you are already experienced and only perform pilot-owner maintenance, where you do not need any supervision or releases to service. If you are just beginning to maintain your aircraft, you can expect costs in the region of your usual annual inspections or slightly above, as they require more time for explanations, guidance, and oversight. On the other hand if you are an experienced owner and just need to rent the hangar and tools, you can expect to reduce maintenance costs a lot.
When you need help from our certifying staff or our mechanics, for instance when a task need an extra pair of hands or you have specific questions, we will trace the time in 15 minute-blocks. You only pay for the assistance you actually need.
For small parts and consumables like grease, safety wire, small amounts of sealing compounds, adhesives, paint, locking varnish, single screws, washers, nuts, rivets or cotter pins, we will charge a modest flat fee. Other material will be billed based on consumption.
